With all that is going on in Takumi at the moment, we managed to fit in an open day to launch our SC21 Taskforce Award. On the day we had Minister Richard Bruton, Kieran O’ Donnell TD, Dr Leslie Orr from ADS, DA Maria Jennings and Tom Kelly to co-present Gerry and Eddie with our SC21 Award.

The day was about showcasing our expertise in the manufacture of precision components in the Aerospace, Medical Devices and Industrial industries. Integration was paramount on this day as we rubbed shoulders with our industry peers. Each and every department played a pivotal role in showing all our visitors the warmest of welcomes.

Entry into the aerospace industry has afforded Takumi the opportunity to develop and grow. As well as investment in capital equipment and CAM, there has been significant improvements carried out within our organisation in the past two to three years. This includes constant development of our MRP system. There has always been a culture of continuous improvement within Takumi Precision Engineering which is the key to our success.
