With Limerick For Engineering now running into its fifth year running, here at Takumi we’ve stopped to reflect on the impact its had on Limerick. Limerick For Engineering isn’t an event for companies to showcase products, it’s soul purpose is to shape the development of young engineers by giving them industry insights and an opportunity to speak with directors, production managers and graduates about the opportunity that exists for them right on their doorstep.A vital aspect of the show is the presence of LIT, UL and the educational training training boards to highlighted the opportunity available locally in the education of future engineers.
Remember a quarter of all employment in the Mid-West Region is within the manufacturing sector.!
For anyone thinking of engineering as their future career the Limerick for Engineering event is not to be missed.
